Newsletter 8th June 2020
We are now officially at the start of term 6, having now had what would have been our two week half term. Over the weekend I have been thinking about how much time has passed and what you have all been doing. Still missing you all and wishing that school could return back to normal. I am sure there are some challenges for many and the juggling of work and home schooling may be one of them. I hope the home learning continues to give some of you a guide and of course I am sure by now some of you have found some alternatives for home learning that fit your child’s ability and interests. I have really enjoyed hearing from families who have sent work in or pictures and the children who take part in story time too. What is really lovely is knowing you are all fine and taking each day as it comes and are happy. It has been great to see some faces returning to school, although school is very different. I would just like to remind you that if you are needing support with anything then please do not hesitate to contact us. The teachers will be sending a letter to their class this week, if the children want to reply that would be great.
‘Something to smile about’
I have decided to run an art competition this week. I would like the children to produce a piece of artwork of their choice that covers the title underlined above. These can be sent to school (photographed) or dropped off at school and I will display them in the office. Each child will receive a certificate. As always you are only required to enter if you want to but I hope to see your creations.
