I hope you are keeping well and enjoying the sunshine. The weather really has made a difference to the lockdown. Being able to get out and about, even if it is only in your garden has, I am sure, made things more bearable. I thank you for returning your letters about the possible reopening of the school if your child was in one of the mentioned groups. I wanted to say that there is no right or wrong decision, you have to do what is the best for your family and we support you in whatever you choose. For the children returning, whenever that is, school life will be very different to how they left it in March.

Next week is half term so therefore there will be no home learning grids, these will be emailed to you on Monday 1st June. As you have probably realised the grid contained more subject areas, this again is for guidance only. I am sure that you have all got into a routine now with the home learning. As always if I can be of any help then please do contact the school office.

I miss the children greatly and am sadden about the fact that for many we will not see them again until September maybe. If they are in year 6 the maybe not at all. They will have grown, lost teeth, learnt new things, laughed and continue to be remarkable. I miss the hustle and bustle and the presence of them all so much.

Thank you all for the messages and the photographs, I forward them to the teachers who are equally impressed at all the wonderful things that you are doing. They make me smile and I love reading and keeping in touch with you all.

So enjoy your half term and I will be in contact in term 6.

    Kind regards

    Mrs Clements
